The SK Uzumba Trust was set up to help kids in rural communities in the Uzumba Maramba Pfungwa (UMP) area in Zimbabwe.

OUR Team

Linda Munjoma

is SKU's Communications Manager. She has extensive regional experience in supporting non governmental organisations in their work in Africa. She has worked in this capacity with international organisations in Communications and Administration. She believes in the power of community is passionate about tranformation.

Maina Banda

is a girl child rights activist, a human rights defender who fights for girls to reach their full potential. She studied Financial accounting at Institute of Adminstration and Commerce and is also a holder of a bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management. She has worked as a creditors cleck, accounts supervisor and is currently working as a finance officer at a school. she founded Girls-Can Foundation Trust.

TAMMY

My name is Tammy, I am a a social worker by profession. I work with children and young people. My goal in life in is to support vulnerable people in the community hence why I chose to do social work. I believe the greatest responsibility that was put on humanity is the ability to help and support each other.

DIRECTOR

After visiting my rural village where I have fond memories growing up, I was touched by how poverty affects a lot of families, as they struggle to afford basic education for their children .After realising that there was no sign of help for these children, I decided to form the SK UzumbaTrust with the hope of raising funds through donors for school fees.The organisation aims to equip children with education and transform their lives. We are passionate in seeing the help going directly to those who need it by directly getting involved with the community on an individual basis .
